Service Description
Nasya therapy is an effective stand alone or preliminary therapy. As a preliminary treatment it opens up the area of the head so that the risks of congestion that may be caused by the exposure to high amount of oils is greatly diminished: it is therefore highly advised in combination with both shiro pichu and shirodhara, and it is a must during the cold seasons. The treatment is proceeded by head massage where the area of the head, included its marma are skillfully stimulated and by fomentation. The heat is an important first step that ensures the first part of the respiratory tract is ready: the oil is than poured in both nostrils and a massage is performed in the area of the sinuses. The main benefits are: - Removing sinuses congestions - Improving sleep - Clearing sensory organs - Mitigating neck stiffness Further indications are: - Balancing most of the conditions above the chest - Lubricating dry mucosa - Reducing wrinkles and promoting skin glow Contraindications are: - Infections - Inflammation - Cold, flue, fever - Pregnancy - Menstruations The therapy gives best results in association to other Ayurvedic treatments according to the condition.
Cancellation Policy
There is a 24 hours cancellation and rescheduling policy that applies, regardless the reason of the cancellation, to the following services: Ayurveda Services Yoga Therapy Pregnancy & Postpartum services If an appointment is missed, canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, it will be charged in full. You can reschedule an appointment free of charge with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to your appointment. Less than 24 hours cancellation, reschedule and "no show"will result in charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. Services that are paid upfront won't be refunded under any circumstance, not fully nor partially. If you do not show up or if you contact us less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will loose your credit. If the request of rescheduling arrives within a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a credit and the possibility to book a new appointment within 1 month (30 days) from the date of purchase of your service. If we have to cancel your appointment less than 24 hours prior your scheduled appointment, you can choose to reschedule or to ask for full refund in case the service has been already paid. How to book an appointment? Go to the Pricing and Bookings page and request your appointment: you will be able to indicate your preferred day and time. Confirmation Upon your booking a confirmation will be sent that the spot has been reserved. You will receive a reminder via email a few days before your appointment, however, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and cancellation fees. Payments Every service needs to be paid upon reception of invoice: please be aware that the appointment is not confirmed until the full amount is transferred. Payment plans are available for services regulated by contracts. Refunds In case we cancel the appointment within 24 hours you you can choose to reschedule or to ask for full refund.
